Barcelona Acitva is a programme run by Barcelona council. This
programme works on projects lead to different kind of collectives: young
people, scholar failure, women and so on. They offer different types of
vocational training courses, in service course, etc. Advice and help for
new employers.

There are 8 centres of Barcelona Activa scattered all around
Barcelona. There are more than 1000 employed people.
Evidence of experience of the organisation of the women’s employment issues and
experience in international co-operation
One of the projects they run is called "women going for
occupation", which is a programme directed to women who have iniciative
and want to create their own enterprise. They have also some programmes
directed to women out of the labour market, not only because their social
situation but also because their skills and problems of self-steem,
etc.
They work in collaboration with the European Social founding, many of
their projects depend on it.
